LESSONS WE CAN LEARN FROM THE GREAT SWAMI VIVEKANANDA.

From his sayings, we can learn a lot that is:-

•Truth can be stated in a thousand different ways, yet each one can be true.

• You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself.

• All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.

• We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.

• You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your soul.

• Dream it And Focus on it - He emphasized success as an outcome of focussed thinking and action. He said to take up one idea, live it, dream of it and leave other ideas alone.

• Swami summarized "Vedanta" in a modern language saying “Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this Divinity within by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work, or worship, or mental discipline, or philosophy by one, or more, or all of these and be free. This is the whole of religion. Doctrines, or rituals, or books, or temples, or forms, are but secondary details.”

• Vivekananda linked morality with control of the mind, seeing truth, purity and unselfishness as traits that strengthened it.

B. R. Ambedkar once said, "the greatest man India produced in recent centuries was not Gandhi but Vivekananda." Do you agree!
